We visited the Netherlands in april 2005, and from Heemstede we went to the dunes in Bloemendaal:

In the recreational forest in Heemstede (Groenendaal), we happened one of the Scottish imports:

We visited the city of Haarlem, right next to Heemstede:
The "bloemencorso" (flower parade) had just taken place, and several cars decorated with flowers were set left for people to have a last peak at, while there was other activities too:
We walked past the children's farm next to Groenendaal for an evening break:
We did a day trip to Amsterdam, where we visited the Anne Frank house, and the Van Gogh museum. We walked everywhere, to enjoy the sight of the canals and old houses:
Scenery at the Royal Museum:

Some houses have sunk a little here and there.. And every bit of space is used, as you can really see here for the British Isles pub:

We visited the famous Keukenhof as well, with my mom - this was the first time for all of us !!!!

Finally, we had a very nice lunch in Kinderdijk, where we went to see a bunch of windmills. Apparently the town is a world heritage point..........
