| Europe: Lille |
| Lille is one of the larger metropoles in France (4th after Paris, Lyon & Marseille) and is situated on the Deûle River, near France's border with Belgium (an hour and 20 minutes away from our home). We went for a short visit on a sunday at the end of October 2008. We had great fun trying to park in the Grand Place underground parkade, which turned out to be open only to cardholders - hence we had to go back on a steep ramp in reverse!
